If You’re An Introvert in the Dating Game…This is Funny..Yet Sadly True!

Thought Catalog

1. Not immediately texting someone back because you’re scared of saying something stupid or looking too needy, and then forgetting to text them back altogether.

2. Wanting to just spend time next to someone, where each of you are doing your own thing, and having them mistake that for being “distant” or not wanting to be with them.

3. Having a minor anxiety attack before your first date because you do not feel quite ready to deal with people but you didn’t want to cancel at the last minute.

4. Meeting someone online and enjoying talking to them so much that you almost don’t want to ruin it with your awkward “in-person” personality.

5. Having a really amazing and fulfulling relationship with someone very long-distance, where no one understands why you’re not more upset that you don’t get to spend more “quality” time with them.

6. Double dates (shudder).

Banh Mi Goodness!

Standard

When it comes to Asian food Toronto has a serious variety. One of my favorites (although there are many) is Vietnamese Banh Mi buns.

Banh Mi sandwiches can be found all over the city whether in Asian grocery stores, restaurants or sandwich shop once place that I like going to is Banh Mi Boys. With 2 downtown locations (392 Queen St W. and 399 Yonge St) you can’t go wrong with these guys.

Last time I went there a couple weeks back I had the Five Spice Pork Belly Banh Mi. Full disclosure it isn’t the healthiest sandwich out there…by far…But it was a cheat day (Superbowl Sunday)so I indulged and was not let down! It was soooo good from first bite to last morsel. Every bite had some pork belly in it and was just a guilty pleasure!

You can’t tell me that doesn’t look fabulous! They also have tacos, steamed bao and salads in case banh mi isn’t your thing. One reason why I enjoy Banh Mi Boys, aside from the food, is the atmosphere because they are always playing good ol’ classic hip hop! I have been frequenting there for about 2 years now and I can’t recall a time where I was underwhelmed. Just looking at these pictures makes me want to head back over now.

If you haven’t already…check them out! Banh Mi Boys

Waynie
